Specialist Dietetics Service | Anorexia Nervosa | Bulimia Nervosa | Binge Eating Disorder
 | ARFID | Mental Health conditions | Working with adults & young people 12+

I am a Masters qualified dietitian, working in the field of dietetics since 2012. An accredited practitioner in the field of eating disorders with Eating Disorders Education and Training Scotland (EEATS).

I have worked both in private and NHS eating disorder settings since 2017, gaining expertise in helping individuals of all ages (children, adolescents and adults) with complex clinical conditions including anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder and ARFID, as well as mental health conditions including anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression and schizophrenia.

I am passionate about helping people build a more positive relationship with food. I understand that life experiences and the media, which is flooded with conflicting advice, can cause us to lose our connection with our body and a healthy relationship with food. Sorting through complex information and advice about diet can require specialist help and support, which I aim to provide in a non-judgemental supportive environment. I understand that everyone is unique. Drawing upon my training in behaviour change techniques, motivational interviewing and cognitive behavioural strategies, I will work with you to understand your eating behaviours as part the bigger picture of your life as a whole and find ways to support dietary change using appropriate tools and techniques, including mindfulness. It is about finding the right answers for you, to provide you with the solid foundation needed for healthy lifelong eating patterns.

I work with young people 12+/adults, your treatment team and family and / or support network to help improve acceptance and flexibility with food, leading to physical and psychological benefits. I also have a team of health professionals that I can refer you to if necessary – including experienced clinical psychologists and psychotherapists. Restoring nutritional balance is much like climbing a mountain. It is hard work, and at times you may feel lost, or like you can’t take another step. Together we will help you see how to take your next healthy step.

I would love to support you. Book a free 20 min discovery call to explore how we might work together and if I am the right health professional for you.
