200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training – Yoga Alliance Professional Certified

Yoga | For: Adults & Families

I’m passionate about creating a space where people feel supported, empowered, and at ease – a space to nurture physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing. Before becoming a yoga teacher, I spent many years in the corporate world, culminating in a senior management role, leading a global team. I’ve seen first-hand how the pressures of modern work life can lead to stress and burnout, and how yoga can help restore balance, focus, and calm. My later work in the community and charity sector deepened my understanding of how trauma, stress, and emotional strain can impact people’s lives – experiences that have shaped the compassionate and inclusive approach I bring to teaching today. Yoga has been truly transformative in my own journey, and I’m deeply grateful to share it with others. I first discovered yoga over 20 years ago and have since trained and practised with teachers in the UK, California, and India, studying Hatha, Iyengar, and Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga. These traditions continue to influence and shape both my personal practice and teaching style. I also follow aspects of the Ayurvedic health system, which complements my holistic approach to wellbeing and balance in everyday life.

My Approach

In my classes, I bring together breath, mindful movement, and a sense of curiosity and compassion. My aim is to help people reconnect with themselves – physically, mentally, and emotionally.
I’m particularly drawn to working with those experiencing stress, burnout, anxiety, depression, or trauma, supporting them through gentle, mindful movement and breath awareness.
Everything we do on the mat is an invitation, there’s no competition or expectation. I encourage you to listen to your body and do what feels right for you on any given day. During class, I may offer verbal adjustments or, with consent, gentle hands-on guidance to support alignment and awareness. My goal is always to make yoga feel accessible, grounded, and real.

One-to-One and Small Group Yoga

In addition to group classes, I offer private sessions which are tailored around your needs and goals. During our first session, we’ll talk through focus areas and create a plan that evolves with your progress.
I also offer private two-to-one, three-to-one, or family sessions, each designed to meet your group’s specific needs. Clients come to yoga for many reasons – from easing physical pain, discomfort or stiffness, to managing anxiety, or simply wanting to reconnect with themselves. Whether you’re a complete beginner or have an established practice, you’re warmly welcome.
